A couple weeks back I got a new kitten! Since my previous cat died last year it's been lonely without a cat around. Sure we have another cat Ruskea, but he's not very affectionate and is always outside somewhere or if he is inside he is in my dad's teaching room (it's horrible, ever since me and my mom went to Finland, Ruskea has become my dad's cat DX). And we figured Ruskea might need some kitty company so we got a kitten from the cat haven! She was initially named "Poopsie" can you believe it...she's not even the colour of poop so why would they call her that?? She had diarrhea a day after she came ;_; so we took her back and they gave her more worming and we are feeding her low residue food and some antibiotics and now she is making awesome pitch black ginormous poos :DDD She only poos about once a day or every second day lol.

Nöpö is one crazy kitty though...since I don't remember having my cat as a kitten (I was only 6 at the time) I don't really have a good idea of what to expect from kittens. Well I can tell you that they are MENTAL! They get into everything and climb everything. Nöpö has taken to running at the door and then climbing the fly screen. Also wedging herself between the sliding glass door and the fly screen. I have so many scratches from her leaping at me and hanging onto my skin with her claws. But despite her being really annoying, she is very cute especially when she is asleep lol. She's a real lap kitty and is always touchy feely. She likes to kneed you like dough, I have a polar bear stuffed toy from Finland and she loves to kneed it, I think cos the bear is really soft.

Oh and another annoying thing, she is obsessed with food. She will tip over the rubbish bin (we will have to get one of those heavy ones with a lid!) and climb onto the dining table and try to eat your food. I hope she'll grow out of this...







Sorry I have been so postless lately DX My scanner has been acting up and won't work on my computer, only on the other one and I can't be stuffed to use the other computer it is so damn slow! But I haven't done anything interesting art-wise and nothing craft-wise D: I have a week off from uni so maybe I'll get something done during that time...I have lots of uni work to do as well so we will see :D

Look I have a new cat! He is about 2 years old and we have named him Ruskea (it means brown in Finnish, named cos his tail is such a lovely brown). Ruskea is said the 'u' as in 'book', the 'e' as in 'pet' and the 'a' as in 'cup'. But we just call him Ruski, its easier :P He's a Ragdoll kitty but doesn't really go limp like they're supposed to...he's really big and fat though and looooves to eat! We got him for free (we've become really good at acquiring expensive pets for free, our chihuahua was free too!) because his first owner moved away and left him with the neighbors. The neighbors didn't even like cats and they hated Ruski even more cos he wouldn't stop meowing (though he's quiet with us, only meows when he wants food so I'm guessing they weren't feeding him enough). My mom came across Ruski when she delivered pizzas to their house and remarked at how pretty he was. The neighbor guy said he hated Ruski and wanted to kill him and would my mom want him. So my mom brought him home and Ruski has adapted very easily! The dogs went crazy at first, but they have calmed down now. My cat Fluffy is a little wary and will hiss a bit but they just ignore each other mostly. Although Ruski has a habit of sneaking into my room and wolfing down Fluffy's biscuits! He's so naughty! I have a video of him but youtube is down for maintenance so it'll have to wait til another day :D

I'm finally finished with uni! No more assignments...until August :P Hopefully I will have passed everything! Now I get on with all the sewing that I've been meaning to do :D

She is turning 16 years old this year!

Cool mounted stickers that my friend from Japan sent me for my birthday. They are so nice I don't I'll ever use them! Just stare at them from time to time and marvel at the cuteness XD


When I was in Japan some time ago me and my sister bought some of those magazines for kindy kids (to reminisce about our young days in Japan), and there was a coupon thing to get a sailormoon and sailor chibi moon mascot doll sent to you. So we did that and I got to keep the sailormoon!


And finally my workspace! There's my kitty (her name is Fluffy...unimaginative I know, but I got her when I was about 5 or 6 years old) on the chair, I always have to throw her off if I want to sit there. It's a real mess isn't it? And it usually gets worse!
