Just added to the SHOP!

I did a wonderful package swap with Diana and these are the things I made for her :D

I couldn't be bothered to scan so sorry for the crappy quality! I did them with copic markers and a little bit of coloured pencil then stamped the name of the animal in the background with silver ink (which I found in the parking lot of a store, what a find!). The last animal to the right is meant to be a sloth...lol it looks nothing like a sloth!

Kangaroo



Made from felt! One of her legs wasn't stuffed very well so she kept falling over ;_; Maybe her baby is so fat that she has trouble standing XD I really like how the kangaroo came out! I made the pattern myself :D If I make any more I must stuff the legs very firmly!

nohonohonohohon and I did a birthday swap! I made her a massive denim bag with a bunny on it and the words "The bunny is tired so he is sleeping" in Finnish.

In return she made me the most awesome thing ever! BEAR EARS HEADBAND!!!!!! It's so warm and toasty and I love how it covered my ears! It's going to be perfect to wear in Finland :DDD Thanks so much Lindsay you are the most sweetest sweetheart ever!

So I had my birthday last week :D I am now 22 and I don't feel any different :P

Sorry I've been quiet! I was busy with a shop order, I had to customise some things to the buyer's liking :) And I am all better now! No more sickness no more pain!!! I feel really great, I don't think I've felt like this for about a year seriously. I just hope it will stay like this and I won't go back to feeling crap. It was so hard to just function normally when just eating something would leave me feeling uncomfortable or in pain. I actually have energy OMG! People who know me in real life are used to me complaining how tired I am, now I don't get unnecessarily tired. I HAVE A NEW LEASE ON LIFE!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!

Yay I added something to the store. A cute set of 5 one inch badges/buttons. I hope you all like them as much as I do :D

I made a couple of birthday presents last week!



First up is a notebook cover! I really like the bunnies I did for this, a bit different style to how I usually depict bunnies. The back cover didn't photograph well :P It's more green than turquoise.

And a felt bunny bag for another friend. I loved the bunny idea so much from the notebook cover I thought I'd keep using it :D The picture on the left is terrible I'm so sorry! The colour is all wrong :P I think it was too sunny outside so the photos came out kinda washed out looking.

In other news I went to the zoo yesterday. I saw an orangutan scratch it's crotch and a tiger pee on a tree :D

I was looking at my photos in my old computer (been too lazy to transfer files onto my new computer) when I came across these photos from last year! I had totally forgotten that I had even done this. It was for my friend's birthday about a year ago - I bought a cup and saucer set from IKEA (sadly they don't make them anymore ;_;) and then drew on it with a porcelaine pen :D I just love drawing bunnies <3

Was feel better today so I went out shopping. I wanted to get some roll-neck skivvies but unfortunately none of the stores had what I was looking for ;_; But towards the end of the day I found some other things! Like firstly, this elephant mug!


It came in a pack of 4 (all the same). I had been eyeing these for at least a month now but hadn't bought them...then I just succumbed today cos I mean look at them! How could you resist?

Then I popped over to the fabric store for some bargains. I found an adorable blanket for my cat's bed!


The blanket is actually yellow but the afternoon light doesn't capture true colour :P It's really soft XD I also picked up some fabric remnants



Can't wait to use the black and white patterned one!

My friend recently had her 21st and for the past 3 years I think, I've been hand making her something for each birthday. I've made her a bag, customised a singlet and now I made her a book cover for a journal. The journal I also customised by writing in memories from highschool and drawing some pictures in it. She was very happy about it, she even had tears in her eyes hehe :D

I used felt and finally dipped into my small stash of Japanese fabrics. The bear came out a little too dark, I think it's cos the tonal value of the brown is so similar to the red that they kinda blend into each other :P

I made this bag a while back and gave it to Helena as a going away present. It's quite large, big enough for an A4 file etc. I enlarged and slightly modified a pattern from "Cotton & Paint" magazine to make it :)

At last a post where I show some fruits of labour ^_^ But first, a picture of what I wore today - I just realy liked it. I blacked my face out cos I looked really gross >_<.

I made this necklace a loooong time ago, it's made from leather with felt circles sewed on it. The leather was a real bitch to sew, I stabbed myself a few times :P Can you guys tell what the shape is of? I once wore it to uni and people commented on the nice 'fish' pendant...*ppssst - not a fish!!!


A little applique I made of a ...weird looking bunny lol It was meant to be relaly cute but came out funny looking XD


And a bunny cushion I made for somebody as a very late birthday present, I sent it off today XD Made from fleece with the bunny in felt.

Sorry for the crappy photo though :P The weird white mark on the left elephant is a random stream of light and the light blue elephant really isn't that luminous. Damn camera! The middle elephant has found a home at my friend's house cos it was her birthday ^^ but where shall the other two go? I'm not sure...the left one might end up on etsy. Stay tuned for further information...:D

Yesterday I had my first day of uni! @_@ The stupid uni screwed me over and I had to go and find out what the hell my timetable was, so that took a while and it ends up I have to go uni every single day blah :P. But omg I actually know somebody in my course! He was in the year below me at highschool and I know him through a friend (bertrude). So that was pretty awsome. And I found I need to buy myself a fancy pansy new camera ;_; I was going to buy a gorgeous dress with that money but oh well...it'll be nice to have a cool camera XD And it's really weird there are GUYS in my course O_O I'm so unused to being around guys it's kinda traumatic. While I was studying education there was only 1 guy in my course. And now there's a mountain *shivers in a corner*

Look I made something! I did it for a trade :D I like how it came out so maybe I'll make some more for the shop!


AND OMG GOOD NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWS!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE A JOB!!!!!!!!! From next week I'll start working at a swedish cafe called "Miss Maude"! And I'll probably get to wear their cute Swedish maid outfit too XD This will be my first proper proper job! I had a job before as a sales person at a clothing store but it hardly felt like working in a way cos I didn't fin the job myself, it was through a friend and we hardly got any customers cos the shop was so gross. So I quit that and then some time later the shop closed cos there wasn't enough customers, they were losing money haha.

JOB!!!!! XD

I did a swap with Monica. She requested a doll like the one I made before. It came out a little different, I am so awful at trying to make the same thing twice >_<. So this one is a little smaller and more cheeky looking I think!

I hope she will like it!

This is the Green Buhni and his best friend Fredric the Bug. Green Buhni is an explorer and he made friends with Fredric when he was in Outer Mongolia. Since then they have become inseperable and go exploring around the world together.

Last week I went on a huge sticker making binge XD So much fun and here is my result:

Hehehe so the first ones are little expressions all different. Then there's little chickens (the top one says 'sini puu' which is my 'brand name' - I changed it from blue tree cos blue tree is everywhere so I needed something more unique and sini puu is blue tree in finnish ^^ and in case yo u're wondering where blue tree comes from, it's what my last name is when you translate to english), then some sushi (the top one says 'sushi for me' and at the bottom 'sushi for you')then I made some shapes from some origami paper, didn't come out so well though :P

They are called "Buhni's" (singular - buhni) and you say it the same as 'bunny'. They are just made from felt then stuffed. About 21cm tall ^^ The purple one had light green stitching but you can't see it in the photo ^^

I drew this for Illustration Friday ages ago but I didn't get it up cos I had no time to colour it. So here's just a the sketch of it...maybe one day I will get around to colouring it
